Warner Robins Man Arrested for Fatal Hit-and-Run in Centerville

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has arrested 31-year-old Jerson Anibal Andrade-Romero of Warner Robins in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of 30-year-old Anne-Marie Gray. The incident occurred on the evening of December 6, 2024, on Elberta Road in Centerville.

According to GSP, Gray and a 47-year-old man were riding their bicycles in the center of the eastbound lane around 7:30 p.m. without lights. Andrade-Romero, driving a 2010 Acura TL, allegedly rear-ended Gray’s bicycle, throwing her from it. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The other cyclist was also struck but survived with injuries.

After the collision, Andrade-Romero fled the scene, continuing eastbound on Elberta Road. Following an extensive investigation, authorities identified him as the suspect. He was arrested on December 11 and booked into the Houston County Jail.

Andrade-Romero faces multiple charges, including Homicide by Vehicle, Following Too Closely, Hit and Run, and Tampering with Evidence.
