Driver Killed in Collision with Parked Semi on Jeffersonville Road in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred Wednesday morning near the intersection of Jeffersonville Road and Finneydale Drive.

At approximately 10:25 a.m., a Dodge Caravan traveling west on Jeffersonville Road lost control and collided with a semi-tractor trailer parked in the center turn lane due to mechanical issues. The driver of the semi, who was working under the raised hood of the truck, sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the Dodge Caravan, identified as 44-year-old D’Mya Clark of Twiggs County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bibb County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Clark’s next of kin has been notified.
