14-Year-Old Alcovy High Student Arrested for Bringing Knife to School
On October 21, 2024, the Newton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 14-year-old male student from Alcovy High School after a knife was found inside the juvenile’s book bag.
The student was charged with possession of a weapon in a school safety zone, and the case will be referred to the Juvenile Court System.
