Arcade Police and GBI Investigate Double Fatality in Domestic Incident
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is conducting an investigation at the request of the Arcade Police Department following the deaths of Thomas Markee, 60, and Alison Markee, 56, both of Arcade, GA.
On October 15, 2024, officers from the Arcade Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a residence on Azalea Drive. Preliminary findings suggest that Thomas Markee fatally injured his wife, Alison, before taking his own life.
Both bodies have been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsy examinations. The investigation remains active, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
