Fugitive Arrested in Muscogee County, Large Quantity of Meth and Drugs Seized

On September 17, 2024, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit located and arrested wanted fugitive Carlton Pate. Pate was wanted for two counts of Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine.

During a subsequent investigation, authorities also arrested Roxie Cox and discovered the following narcotics:

  • 3.05 lbs of Methamphetamine valued at $138,420.00
  • 6.3 grams of Psilocybin (Mushrooms) valued at $300.00
  • 0.9 grams of Heroin valued at $400.00
  • 13 Oxycodone tablets valued at $130.00

Carlton Pate faces charges of:

  • Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine (3 counts)
  • Felony Possession of Psilocybin
  • Felony Possession of Heroin
  • Felony Possession of Oxycodone
  • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Related Objects

Roxie Cox was charged with:

  • Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Related Objects

Both Pate and Cox were transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident.
