Lithonia Suspect in Roommate Murder Captured in Gwinnett County
On July 7, DeKalb County Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at 611 Woodcrest Walk, Lithonia. The investigation revealed that the incident involved a dispute between the suspect, 22-year-old Caleb Lincoln, and his 25-year-old roommate. Following the dispute, Lincoln left the residence but returned later, during which he shot his roommate multiple times before fleeing the scene. He was declared deceased on-scene.
On August 14, Lincoln was apprehended in Gwinnett County at a residence on Back Creek Chase. Law enforcement officers and deputies surrounded the house, successfully taking him into custody without incident. Lincoln was subsequently transported to the DeKalb County Jail, where he was booked for Malice Murder.
